Come Home to Crocker Free Community Block Party - October 20 5:00PM - 7:00PM

Your attendance and support are essential as we come together for our Come Home to Crocker Community Block Party! This event is more than just a celebration — it's an opportunity to recognize the incredible progress Crocker has made over the past five years under Young Audiences Charter Schools and to showcase the strong, vibrant community that surrounds our school. As conversations around public education in New Orleans continue, it is especially important that we show the strength of our families, staff, students, partners, and supporters and celebrate the impact of arts-integrated education in our city. The evening will feature free food, inflatables, student and community performances, classroom visits, family activities, a special performance by New Orleans legend Kermit Ruffins, and special guest appearances throughout the evening! Bring your family, enjoy the celebration, and help us show New Orleans what the Crocker and YACS community is all about. All are welcome!!! We hope to see our YACS family show up strong!

YACS In Action Tours - Schedule Your Visit Today!

Join us for a guided Campus Tour and see our arts-integrated classrooms in motion! You’ll have the opportunity to observe learning in real time and meet some of our teachers, artists, and creative learners to get a true feel for our culture and what makes Young Audiences Charter School unique.

Tours are private, 15–20 minutes, and require registration. Once you sign up, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your scheduled date and time. Please allow up to 72 hours for confirmation.

🎨 Arts Portfolios Encouraged
All creative artists are encouraged to upload an arts portfolio as part of their application. Portfolios may include photos, videos, recordings, or links that showcase your learner’s artistic interests or talents.

🌱 PK4 / LA4 Families
Families applying for PK4 LA4 seats must apply directly through the Jefferson Parish Early Childhood Collaborative. Enrollment is lottery-based and not first-come, first-served. Publicly funded PreK programs prioritize eligible low-income children and children with identified disabilities.
